

Dana is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Idaho with over 20 years experience in the counseling field. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Pitzer College in Claremont California and her Master of Science Degree in Counseling from California State University at Long Beach in 1990.
Her experience is vast and varied covering work in psychiatric hospitals to counseling in the schools. She has been a guest lecturer over the years at several colleges and teaches today in the counseling field. Dana is the Ethics Chair of the Idaho Mental Health Counselors Association and is responsible in that capacity to prepare and offer training to all counselors across the state in ethical and legal policy and procedure. She also does public speaking for local community groups upon request.
Dana is a Fellow in both the American Psychotherapy Association and the American College of Forensic Examiners International. She is a Certified Relationship Specialist, a Diplomate in the American Board of Forensic Counselors and a Board Certified Professional Counselor. She serves on the Board of the Idaho Mental Health Counselors Association and on the Executive Advisory Board of the American Board of Professional Counselors.

Dana's private practice focuses on older teens, adults, couples and victims of violent crime. Her therapeutic philosophy centers on each persons individual life journey and helping people to stay on the path of their own life.
